Awesome interface

This app is by far the best app Ive found for tracking food and fitness. The interface is super easy to navigate, and they use smiley faces to make it easy to check your daily nutrition. So much better than focusing just on calories in and calories out. They also allow you to "create" a food item that isnt in their database. This feature is great for making sure youre keeping track of nutrients even when they dont have something in their database. On a side note, the database is not crowd sourced and isnt shared with other users, which helps maintain the integrity of the information- huge plus!! The staff is also very responsive when you have an issue, and emails you back within 24-48hrs. They send out newsletters to continue to educate users who may be unfamiliar with the importance of good nutrition practices and how imperative it is to be proactive about your health/nutrition status. I highly recommend this app and hope that others are having as positive an experience as I am!

Left a bad taste in my mouth

Dont download unless you enjoy health scare emails. If you ask to be taken off of their email list, they delete your account. Every time. Please do not contact me again. I wish to be left alone.

Horrible Database

So, I just downloaded this app. Plenty of 5 stars but I have to wonder if anyone is cooking their own food. Building a recipe I try and add poblano peppers. No luck. There are plenty of pre-made meals with poblanos in them but no raw peppers. In fact the database seems to be polluted with premade meals. No good for creating a recipe. Ive better luck with other, more established apps. Its too bad too. Was looking forward to what else the app had to offer. If it doesnt have a clean database it is no use to me.

Facebook forced

App will not operate without allowing access to Facebook contact lists. Horrible design.

Great app

This app is awesome.Would like to be able to use garmin connect/devices... Also it needs to be able to pull weight data from healthkit....other than that-this is as perfect as it gets-thanks.. a+

Nice app with a few problems

I am very great full for this app as it has helped me track my vitamins and other nutrients and balance out my diet. Unlike many other food tracking apps, this one is more geared towards nutrition than weight loss and will show all of the vitamins and minerals rather than only calories, carbs etc. I have had a few glitchy experiences which eventually cleared themselves up. Also, the food database is a little limited and adding your food and supplements is not always accurate (supplements asks for % and this comes out wrong when the app translates the % you input to mc/mcg). It would be better if it allowed for a bit more flexibility in the input format. Unfortunately, this problem also makes me wonder if the DV% are actually correct for the nutrients. Overall if you want to track your nutrients for health, this is the best free app I could find, but it does still have its limitations (and accuracy may be one of them).

Wish...

This app is pretty good. I just wish there was a preset or a way to adjust and track the nutrition settings for prenatal and pregnancy.

Nutritional Tracker

This APP is really horrible! God forbid you dont eat a typical breakfast, lunch or dinner. It cant handle anything outside the ordinary. I entered a super food and it was useless. No place to enter much of the data, very clumsy, doesnt save information effectively, etc etc

Great Diet Control

After being just about ready to give up on finding a diet app that would sync with Fitbit and track dietary calcium, not just protein, fat, and carbs, I had the good fortune to trip over this one and am grateful every time I use it. It has most of the features of LoseIt, but also tracks a wide range of nutrients, and provides more additional services than I can list here Check it out- you wont regret it!

Needs improvement

Fitbit connection doesnt carry over minutes/calories correctly. Food database is bigger, but still limited. Needs a better format/UI. Requires too many food items to be input to provide score- should provide score based on what has been eaten so far, not what it is at the end of the day. Great for being free.

Great for micronutrients (and more!)

Im loving this app so far. It tracks way more than just calories, fat, carbs, and protein. Since I dont eat much meat, I need to know how Im doing getting my folate, zinc, and b12, among others. This shows me where my gaps are and what I can eat to fix it. I can also track my exercise, and it syncs perfectly with Apple Health. To be honest though, I prefer this app.

Must read!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the extreme title. This is more to get the app creators attention. I love your app its very helpful and designed beautifully. For anyone looking to track their caloric intake and find ways to consume most of the proper nutrition your body needs, this app is perfect. I just have one small note to the creators. I input at least half of my food and supplements. Ive made small mistakes in inputting the food in my favorites. You cant edit your already input food. I really wish I could. Also I would love to be able to organize my favorites into folders like fruit, meat, seeds, and vegetables. Something like that. Also you cant delete things that automatically get put into your favorites even though you may have only had it once in two weeks. Lastly why is my exercise option only measured in time? I can tell you the distance and the time I ran. In conclusion I hope there is an update to help customize the favorites section and further improvements on the exercise section but the app is fantastic, I really do appreciate it. Thank you.

When it works its great

But it only works for three days before I cant open it without it crashing It just never gets past "sync in progress"

Force Fed Food Menu

Unless Im seriously missing something here, this is a clunky way to keep a food diary. I see what the diary lists as what I should eat. My diet is great; I just want to keep track of it. I tried to enter that I had a juice - not the orange juice it lists as my mandate...not at all helpful.

Great App!

I recently switched over to HealthWatch360 from My Fitness Pal because I can track all of my micronutrients. I do want to loose a little bit of weight but I also want to track those micronutrients so I can make sure Im getting everything I need to be and stay healthy. I would like to see this app include a step tracker that will count steps and will automatically adjust my calories burned or be able to be linked to step tracking apps like Pacer or other fitness bands like UP or even Apple Watch.

Great to track micronutrients

Im planning to change from another app to this, because the ability to track micronutrients and health conditions, I just will recommend to the developers to improve the interface thats the only thing I would like to see in an future update, the app have almost a year without update.

Best All around app ever!

I had been tracking my food in another app, and my moods and symptoms on paper, and my exercise in another app, and I had no idea if I was getting enough of certain nutrients. Now its all in one app and I can figure out how to change my diet to ensure Im getting the nutrients I need. I love that you can easily see your nutrients status and where each nutrient came from, and the symptoms of a deficit or overdose on each one individually. My doctors love the printed reports I can do from the web- based program. All of my doctors are now recommending this app to their other patients!

Good for nutrient-level tracking!

For those of us with specific nutrient goals, we need an app that shows everything from potassium and vitamin c intake and this app delivers! A few pieces of feedback though: - nutrient goals are automatically set based on daily recommended values. It would be great to set my own, by mg or IU based on my own goals. - customizable nutrition reports would be awesome so that I can tailor them to what I care about. For example, Im not really concerned about the normal macros: calories, fat, carbs. Im monitoring my magnesium, vitamin c, omega 6&3 intake. - why does Facebook have to be open with the app? Most apps that auth login through Facebook dont do that. Its kinda creepy and makes the app start-up experience janky. - could use a UI upgrade Overall great app!
